What is the HIDDEN purpose of the Watchtower corporation?

why does the average man or woman on the street only have a vague awareness of who jehovah's witnesses are and what they stand for?

isn't it weird they know next to nothing after over a hundred years of door to door work???.

ask yourself why this has been such an ineffective ministry.. one actor, tom cruise, has raised more awareness about his own religion (scientology) than all the watchtower magazines placed at a million households.

Jesus was a false prophet....

i posted this on another thread, but if you read matthew 24, we see that jesus was indeed a false prophet... he doesn't give the day or hour of the end times but he says that this generation will not pass away until all these things occur... and what generation was he talking about?

he was talking to his diciples and telling them you will see this and that and thus and such....especially take a gander at matt 24: 33-36...jesus thought he was living in the last days and that he would come down from a cloud from the heavens...that stars would fall from the sky, and the like... just read it and tell me what you think.

i wonder if jesus was an essene, they thought they were living in the end of time, in fact they predicted a messiah would come during their days... .

guess where my first panic attack occurred?

at the kindom hall of course.

i was 14yrs old and thought i was being "possessed by a demon".. panic attacks became more common, and at the age of 18 i was diagnosed with "panic disorder with depression".

notice what it says in the watchtower magazines from the 1980's about people who either reject or leave the faith of jehovah's witnesses.

if you get disfellowshiped,disasociate yourself,or reject the teachings of the organizationan ....... you will be treated the same.

they really give you no other ways of leaving the organization.

genesis 6:1-2- and it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them.2 that the sons of god saw the daughters of men that they were fair and they took them wives of all which they chose.. 4 there were giants in the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of god came in unto the daughters of men and they bare children to them the same became mighty men which were of old men of renown.. some intresting questions to ask jws who come to see you:.

1 has god given angels the power and capability to reproduce?.

2 how did the sons of god come to the earth and take women for themselves and there women produce children if they could not reproduce?.

ive been away from the borg for nearly a year now (whoo hoo) without anyone noticing (so much for that brotherly luuuuuuurrvvve) been reading some of the posts & wow.

some stuff i already knew about, but a lot i did not.. was wondering how many of you are from the uk?

By bibical definiton, JWs have yet to cover every nation on this earth.

....got into a discussion with another jw last week over this matter,and he brought this up.

knowing what i know, i took him to the greek dictionary to let him know what the bibical word nation meant: .

1. a multitude (whether of men or of beasts) associated or living together .

we're not talking about anything even remotely connected with religion, god, the bible or jws.
