  How old were you when you lost your virginity...

  how old were you when you lost your virginity and was it all that you thought it would be?????.

  i was 19, and my first time was a complete let down.

  i envisioned that gothic romance motif, all about romance and love, i didn't know what i was doing, didn't know sex was like that.

  My aunt was 87 when she died a virgin.
  I honestly believe she is in heaven.

  I was way too young, about 15 and didnt know what was going on. I was like "uh,,,,What is that? did you just put that there? You mean that was it? Its over?"

  Im sure you wouldnt hold it against a girl because she didnt wait though. Not everyone can do that. Some may have thought it was the right one and it wasnt. Or, as in my case, some are just immature and ignorant.

  People change so much as they get older. I know me and my husband are completely different people from when we first met. I know we could have grown apart as we have had our trials.

  Don't become emotionaly attached to JW.com

  don't become emotionaly attached to jw.com.

  it seems that many of our friends here have become too emotionaly involved with this discussion board.. it has eaten into their personal lives,and caused upset and anger.. it is a shame as a times there can be great encouragement and words of wisdom here.other times nonsense and triva.. it can be addictive, and i sometimes find myself wandering here too often.. but i think its good to keep yourself detached from the people here unless you know them more personnaly.. internet conversations are different from face to face chats, and people say things they wouldn't normally say in front of someone, or say things due to lack of understanding , of other peoples needs.. we would't want to put people off from coming here by petty bickering and such.. i believe that restraint is sometimes called for and a little patience on our part when we feel hurt by peoples cutting remarks, imagined or other wise.

  it's really weird that so many people have left this board because they claim it was a manipulative and inflammatory place to be.. now it's all great posts, good content and no quarreling here at jw-d. there's something here that i can't quite get my head around, hmmm, i wonder what i'm missing........?.

  i keep coming across posts of people who appear to be sympathetic to the jws.

  instead of calmly explaining their position, they start spewing obscenities or cursing or harass people they disagree with.. if these people were "christian" or a "loyal jw" they would not do these things.

  this leaves me confused.

  People posting generic, insulting comments usually just cant think of anything better to say so they have to resort to name calling.
  There are times though when it is really the posters opinion. Maybe we should post that, before we hurl the insult.
  This is just my personal opinion but I think you are a _______!!!

  I feel nothing but sympathy for the witnesses.
  They are victims just like we were.
  I do feel contempt for the society that is manipulating, controlling and hurting these innocent people.
  Thats where I stand.

  I think I may be a bit attatched. I would be bugged big time if this site was discontinued. I dont think Im "emotionally attatched" to the forum or anyone on it though. I know that there are a few posters on the board whos opinions I strongly disagree with and I probably wouldnt want to bump into them on the street. I also know there are many others who I enjoy sharing the same threads with and are people that I would probably get allong with very well offline.
  Yes, we should be very careful, especially if we were planning on setting up a meeting with someone have never met,
  but, we are still all human beings and although Im sure many of us would love to be able to ignore our feelings, we cant help but get emotional at times. Especially when it comes to a subject as sensitive as this.
  You are right about forming emotional attatchments or relationships. If it goes beyond casual flirting or if someone starts obsessing about another poster they have never met, I would say, there could be a problem.

  i think simon should have a button we can push with a "stupid" sign on it.

  that way if some poster ticks us off, we can push the button, and maybe stop flame wars?.

  i just got a call from a very sweet sister from the kingdom hall, telling me that i am her householder for her talk tomorrow night.

  i have not been to a meeting since november.

  i have managed to avoid elder's calls.

  I agree that this is a game someones playing.
  You would be her householder alright. You would also get a good "preaching to" in front of an entire congregation of J.W.s.
  wanting to use you as an inactive example.
  I dont trust them.
  Then again, maybe Im just being my paranoid self.
