The 3 H's
by sayitsnotso inhonest, humble, hungry.. .
in the ministry we are taught that only these types of people with come into the truth.. once in though, having legitimate concerns, doubts, and questions are played up as one not being honest (charges that you really want to do what you can't as a jw), not being humble (charges that you think you know better than everyone else), not being hungry (charges you don't care about the truth or your spiritual need).. explain this to me.
the person comming into the truth (and thus leaving somewhere else) would have a very similar attitute as the person leaving the truth on merits for doctronial reasons..

ring of truth
by sayitsnotso inmany argue that the truth will always be the truth because of core beliefs: no hellfire, no trinity, no immortal soul, adam and eve lost paradise (and thus paradise on earth will be restored and the need for the ransom), the issue of universal soverignty, last days, loving brotherhood, using god's name.. most people are attracted to the truth becuase of at least one or more of these beliefs and refer to these often as the 'ring of truth'.
this makes it very easy to then shrug of any of the past mistakes or any current teaching that is hard to understand or believe.
i myself am struggling with this.

If 1914, 144,000, and this generation were dropped...
by sayitsnotso inwhat would happen?.
aren't these three related things some of the hardest to explain to interested people?
most jws don't focus on these teachings at first and will instead focus on more appealing bible teachings.

Armageddon
by sayitsnotso ini'm beginning to have some doubts about my doubts.
this subject is one of them.. many argue that it is unfair, unloving, and unjust for god to destroy 99.9% of all mankind at armageddon.
but didn't this happen before in the days of noah?

What hope is there then?
by sayitsnotso inif jws don't have the truth; if there is no paradise earth; if there is no end of this system; if death is all there is, then what hope do we have to look forward too?.
