I think it is a necessary, but sad and unfortunate thing.

Do you think it would be loving of God to allow a peaceful and loving people whom He has promised to protect to be victims of those who would come and destroy them?

    mP:

The facts are God is never peaceful in the OT. He encourages war and all its crimes for bounty and greed. At no stage does he help anyone peaceful. Dont assign attributes that are not demonstrated in the Bible. Dont pretend because we have a few verses with nice stuff and then ignore the thousands of vile, text filled with violence. This is the same bullshit tactic that Muslim apologists use when they say its a religion of peace, except when its filled with hatred. You shouldnt allow double standards.

Well, mP, I am not speaking about the religion of 'christianity'.

And once again... religion is not Christ. The Church of England is not Christ. The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Pope are not Christ.

You do not know Christ, mP. I am sorry, but this version that you think is true... is a lie.

    mP:

While i have not got a perfet knowledge of the NT where his story is told, i know enough its hyporcritical to lie about his image and pretend he was noble when he was a blind fool to put it mildly. Your image of Jesus only exists in your head, if you were honest you admit Jesus failed instead of making up images of Christ that are not present in the Bible.

Your god allows this everyday....no I don't think it is loving of him.

This world and this life is not free from suffering. But He has promised otherwise in the Kingdom, though His Son.

So by your words, I am sure that you will not have a problem with His promise or His protection of His people from those seeking to destroy them?

Jesus failed instead of making up images of Christ that are not present in the Bible.

Now how would you know what is made up or not, if by your own words, you don't have full knowledge of the NT where (some... my edit) of his story is told?

Perhaps you should consider who is being the hypocrite and lying about his image...and pretending he was evil like Hitler and a blind fool? How many times was something in the bible that you did not realize in our previous discussions... that you would condemn someone such as Christ and not doubt your own conclusions?

You are listening to lies. You are making motivations and actions up where none exist. I am sorry that you do not see this.

I am not suggesting armageddon is a good thing. I am not even saying this is the only way your god could deal with a problem. How is me saying "god allowing suffering everday is not loving" advocating armageddon?

WOW thats twisty...you deserve a lolly for that...

He does not protect his people....today or any other day...that is not loving.

God's message the gospel is a personal message to each person on earth.

This message is largely about the legal victory Jesus secured over religion at his death.

The gospel is also a map that anyone can find and follow. It's numerous markers lead us away from religion to God.

We humans are permitting wickedness by not embracing God's counterintuitive and ultimate solution for it - the unabridged gospel of grace.

It is unwise to make any assumptions until one has found, seen and followed this metaphysical map which is hidden in plain sight throughout scripture.

It is no accident that the ruling religious clergy class secretly fear and hate nothing more than this map, the unabridged gospel of grace, which fully exposes them and their fruits.

This is the essence of "Franzgate 1980", ISOCF and COC.

It is indeed sad that it is 'necessary' for a supposedly omnipotent and omniscient being to create people only to slaughter most of them. That is, sad in the sense of extremely pathetic.

The only redeeming quality of this alleged creator is the fact that it doesn't exist.

I want to know because it would appeaer that you do feel you have superior morals since you believe slavery in all forms is wrong and Christ apparently did not.

Like the song says...you don't always get what you want.
