Your ignorance of the practices of slavery in 30CE is absolutely no excuse, esp if you CHOOSE to remain ignorant.
What i said was correct FOR that parable.
Not for slavery in 30CE, or slavery in the states, or elsewhere in the world.
The 'slave' represented one who has been set over the House of God (or Christ)... but instead of remaining worthy of the trust given them in caring for those who belong to God and Christ; begins to beat them instead. Beat his 'fellow' slaves... btw. No master among them. The only master being Christ, and God.
No man can own another man... and especially not in the house of God. Because all in that house belong to Him (and WANT/CHOOSE to belong to Him)
